My Dad....

Well, I just wanted to do a little post about my dad for his birthday. He is such a great man and has done so much for me...When I was growing up I know that I didn't appreciate him as much as I should have....but now I know how special he is. Here is a list of things that I love and admire about my dad:
-his love for his family (wife, kids, grandkids, etc)
-his willingness to help everyone and anyone
-his sense of humor
-the way he plays with my boys
-his love for the gospel
-his willingness to do anything and everything for his family
-his jokes
-and so many more

When I had Kaleb my dad was my life support when Sam was between work and the hospital. My dad spent every moment at the NICU with my little boy. He was such a support and helped to keep me strong which really wasn't that easy. My dad loves his grandson's, all four of them. He is so good with them and he teaches them every chance he gets. He is a lot like his own dad was with me and my brothers and sister. My boys idolize their grandpa, Karson was his little shadow all weekend! My dad is so good with my husband....even when it's hard to be...he treats him so good and invites him with him to do so many things.
I just want my dad to know that I could sit here all day and write about him and how important he is but that would take to long....So dad thanks for everything you do...I love you so much and am very thankful to have you as my dad! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! (25 again I think)

Grandpa's Birthday Party

This Little, ok not so little, thing is my
nephew. He is so cute and so much fun.
He is the Fourth Grandson, and he looks just
like my brother Mike.

My dad with his Birthday Cake and
his four grandson's. Man Kaylee is going
to have to be one tough little thing.

Kasey had to have a Pinata for my
dads birthday. The kids loved it...
Grandpa even took some swings at it.

Sledding with Grandpa

It is my dad's birthday this week and
because we can't make it during the week
we did stuff this weekend. My boys had to
go sledding and snowmobiling with Grandpa...

Above is Karson white washing Grandpa...
Cause Grandpa was white washing all of them.

Here he is getting Kasey!

It took a few try's but Kaleb and
my dad were finally able to get the sled
going and down the hill they came.

Delivery Game...Come Play

So yesterday I was able to go and have an ultra sound done of little Kaylee to make sure we were getting ready. It is so amazing the details that you can see when this far along. She has chubby cheeks, and some pretty good hair. When we were watching her the tech was telling me how they practice breathing. She was going to town...they say that is a sign of mature lungs and that she could come any day. I have been having lots of contractions and she just keeps dropping lower....so keep tuned in little Kaylee will be making here entrance into this world any day now...But just cause she is ready you watch.....she won't come out for a few weeks....Guess we will wait and see. I thought it would be fun to do a guessing game on here so.... a prize will be awarded to the person who is closest. Here is a few stats: She is really due Feb 12, my boys were all two weeks early, and my first two were in the five pound range and Karson was 7 lbs. 11oz. they all were 19 inches long.....So Give a date, weight, length, on my comments and lets see who wins! GOOD LUCK!

2009....Ready or Not!

Wow....I can hardly believe that 2008 has come and gone...and it is now 2009! What an exciting year to come...there are so many fun and exciting things to look forward to. First and most important baby Kaylee will be entering this world. (only 4 weeks left) We are super excited to finally be adding some pink to our home. My little "big" brother comes home from his mission. We just can't wait until June 2nd. I think my boys are more excited for that then the birth of this baby. Sam and I will have been married 8 years this June...So crazy. But I wouldn't trade a minute of those 8 years. I am sure with the amount of sibling's still single in both our families....there is bound to be at least one wedding this year? Guess we will have to wait and see. As for New Years Resolutions......well I am sure there is a lot is should do.....but there are a few for sure I really want to stick to......

1. Stop drinking Dr. Pepper ( we will start that one tomorrow....since I already broke it today :) )
2. Go to the gym after Kaylee is born every day....(can't let Sam loose more weight then me and he has a few month head start)
3. Spend more time with family and friends
4. Be closer to Christ.
5. Go on at least two family vacation's (No Sam,..... going to my mom and dads doesn't count)
6. Be a better friend to those who marry into our families aka in laws!
7. Just have a great year all around!

Well some of them should be simple others I will have to work on.....As for now...I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday season and I wish everyone the best in 2009!
